Cycling in Denmark is as natural an activity as drinking water and breathing oxygen. There are few countries better set up for the pursuit and this Scandinavian nation has the added benefit of being exceptionally pretty.

One of the reasons Denmark has such beautiful landscapes is down to its archipelagic nature; it has over 400 islands. You can cycle from island to island using bridges and ferries, all the way from Copenhagen in the east to the mainland in the west.
